The Mothering Sunday has been celebrated in the United Kingdom since the 16th century. The “Mother’s Day” celebrations we know today, were founded in the 20th century by Anna Jarvis West Virginia, USA. Various parts of the world celebrate honouring mothers on different days.
We, the African Euro Hospitality Association, believe that a pre-Mother’s Day event should happen annually, when families can Chat, Eat & Dance with their Mothers (CEDM).
We look forward to welcoming you to a festive evening with us, full of delicious food from Afric Carib Restaurant, live music by Chief Dr Morocco Maduka, Afrobeat music by DJ Omo Whyte & DJ Ify, plus cultural dancing and comedy.
The event is organised to say THANK YOU to all mothers for the nuruture, the sleepless nights, heart-ache, joy, laugther and all the hard work they do for their children. So please come and raise a glass to your mothers, wherever they are.
During the evening, we will collect donations to the charities Cancer Research UK, Endometriosis UK and the Disability Charities in Anambra State, Nigeria.
NB: Ticket price includes admission, food, and entertainment. Drinks sold separately inside the venue.
